DrivenHost wants everyone to be able to use its website and client area, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
What we do
Our pages are built with semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, visible focus states, sufficient colour contrast, text that scales, and a "skip to content" link. Images that carry meaning have alternative text. Motion is reduced for users who have asked their operating system for that. Every page is also available as plain Markdown by adding .md to its address, which some screen readers and reading tools handle more easily.
Known limitations
Third-party control panels provided with some plans (for example cPanel) are maintained by their vendors and may not fully meet these standards. We pass accessibility feedback to those vendors.
Tell us
If any part of our website or Services is difficult to use, email the support address on the Contact page with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We will respond within five business days and work with you on an alternative way to get what you need.
