Domains & DNS

Nameservers, records, transfers.

Add a second domain to your existing cPanel account, point it at your hosting, and upload its files so the new site loads on its own name.

Use the Redirects tool in cPanel to send one domain, subdomain or page to another address, pick 301 or 302, and confirm the change works.

Create a subdomain such as blog.example.com in cPanel, point it at the right folder, add your files, and secure it with an SSL certificate.

Add A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records in cPanel's Zone Editor, understand TTL, and avoid the trailing-dot mistake everyone makes once.

Two ways to connect a domain to your hosting: change nameservers or add A records. When to use each, and what propagation really means.
